A 32-year-old paramedic/firefighter died last night while working at the Baltimore County Fire Department's Texas Fire Station on York Road.
PM/FF Brian D. Neville, normally assigned to the Hillendale Fire Station, was working temporarily last night as an EMS district supervisor. The district supervisor's office is located at the Texas station, which is where colleagues found him this morning when they arrived to relieve him.
The state medical examiner will perform an autopsy and determine the cause of death.
PM/FF Neville has been employed with the Fire Department since 2001. Besides his most recent assignment at the Hillendale station, he also has been assigned to the Westview, Woodlawn and Catonsville stations.
PM/FF Neville lived in Abingdon, in Harford County, with his wife and three preschool-aged children. Fire Department command staff spent the morning with the family.
